On July 20, 2024, the Yale Club of Shenzhen hosted a gathering of wisdom and warmth at the Salubris Headquarters in Shenzhen. The 2024 Yale Club of Shenzhen New Admits Welcome Reception was not only a reunion for alumni, but also a profound dialogue on growth, leadership, and the spirit of lifelong learning.
超过80位耶鲁新成员与校友，包括本科、硕士、博士新生以及毕业校友，齐聚一堂，共同参与了这场意义非凡的欢迎会。从信立泰企业参观开始，新生们便被深圳的创新氛围所感染，对即将到来的耶鲁生活充满了期待。
Over 80 members of the Yale community—including incoming undergraduates, graduate and doctoral students, and alumni—came together for this meaningful event. Beginning with a tour of Salubris, the new students were immersed in Shenzhen's spirit of innovation, leaving them inspired and eager to embark on their upcoming journey at Yale.
耶鲁大学深圳校友会（YCSZ）、耶鲁中国学生学者联合会（ACSSY）以及耶鲁大学医疗健康中国校友俱乐部（YHCC），为在场的每一位听众带来了详尽的学术生活、社会融合以及职业发展指导。这些宝贵的资源和知识，为即将踏入耶鲁校园的新成员们铺设了坚实的成长之路。
The event also featured contributions from the Yale Club of Shenzhen (YCSZ), the Association of Chinese Students and Scholars at Yale (ACSSY), and the Yale Healthcare China Club (YHCC). Together, these organizations offered insights on academic life, social integration, and career development, equipping the new students with resources to support their growth as they prepare to enter Yale.

A highlight of the day was the keynote address delivered by Mr. Kevin Ye (SOM 2004), Chairman of Salubris. Drawing from his exceptional leadership and extensive professional experience, Mr. Ye spoke on perseverance, innovation, and lifelong learning. His words not only inspired the incoming students, but also provided valuable guidance for alumni in their own professional journeys.

An interactive Q&A and networking session built a bridge between alumni and students. Alumni shared their Yale experiences and offered personalized advice on careers and daily life, painting vivid pictures of what lies ahead for the new members. These exchanges not only deepened alumni connections, but also provided practical guidance and encouragement for the incoming class.
本次新生欢迎会还得到在广州创业的校友Melissa Lu (MAM' 2022)的产品支持。她创业公司研发的aege是一个为女性健康专研的创新“超级食物+”品牌，提供洁净、科学、营养的健康产品，以期陪伴所有女性打造健康美，重塑生命力。
The Welcome Reception also received product support from alumna Melissa Lu (MAM ’2022), who is currently an entrepreneur based in Guangzhou. Her startup brand, aege, is an innovative “superfood+” company dedicated to women’s health. aege provides clean, science-based, and nutrient-rich products designed to support women in building wellness and beauty, while revitalizing energy and vitality.
